The Full Story

Welcome again to D.WinterCustoms. I'm Dan, designer and manufacturer here at D.WinterCustoms. This whole thing began way back when I started playing a new format (commander) in my favorite TCG (Magic). I very quickly started piling up more and more decks, and as a result, needed more and more copies of the staple cards they featured. I eventually got the idea to try and print copies of the more expensive cards I already owned a copy or two of.  As you might expect, my first prints were low quality and not worthy of being on the same table as the originals.  Eventually, several material and equipment upgrades later, I came up with a product I was happy with.  Shortly thereafter, people in my playgroup started asking for some of their own. Several close friends eventually convinced me that people would pay for my work.  So here I am, working out of my home studio, cutting by hand to ensure the highest possible quality, and aiming to level the financial playing field and make my favorite hobby accessible to everyone who might be interested. So thank you so, so much for being here, and a very special thank you to everyone involved in motivating me to get here today.
